A Typical Morning

Children arrive and settle into the classroom, choosing their first work from the shelves. The morning unfolds with a long, uninterrupted Montessori work cycle — the hallmark of a quality Montessori program. During this time, children engage with materials across all five curriculum areas at their own pace.

A group gathering (circle time) brings children together for songs, stories, calendar work, and community building. A healthy snack break offers a chance to practice grace, courtesy, and self-care skills. The morning concludes with outdoor play before pickup.
